PASTOR PROFESSOR AUTHOR HOMESTEADER

Brian Cosby

Brian Cosby has spent his life bringing biblical truth into the places where people actually live: the pulpit, classroom, family table, field, workshop, and public square. His work joins theological depth with practical responsibility, calling Christians to know what they believe and live it with courage.

Dr. Brian H. Cosby is a bestselling Christian author, pastor, professor, speaker, homesteader, and host of the popular Provide & Protect YouTube channel. He serves as senior pastor of Wayside Presbyterian Church (PCA) on Signal Mountain, Tennessee, and as adjunct professor of historical theology at Reformed Theological Seminary in Atlanta. He has also taught at Reformation Bible College, Covenant College, and Belhaven University.

A former chaplain and Captain in the United States Air Force Reserve, Brian brings a distinctive combination of pastoral leadership, theological scholarship, military experience, and hands-on homesteading to his writing and teaching. He holds a B.A. from Samford University, an M.Div. from Beeson Divinity School, and a Ph.D. from the Australian College of Theology. His academic interests include Reformation and post-Reformation history, Puritan theology, suffering and sovereignty, confessional theology, and the life of the church.

Brian is the author or contributor to more than a dozen books for men, families, students, pastors, and Christian readers. His newest book, Provide and Protect: A Guide for Men in a World of Weakness, Wokeness, and Compromise, grows from the mission of his YouTube channel and calls men to embrace biblical responsibility, courageous leadership, preparedness, and sacrificial service. His wider catalog includes works on the attributes of God, difficult passages of Scripture, suffering, John Flavel, church history, Reformed theology, youth ministry, and Christian biography for young readers.

Brian and his wife, Ashley, live with their family on a small farm in Tennessee. When he is not preaching, teaching, writing, or creating videos, he enjoys carpentry, hunting, fishing, and the daily work of homestead life. Across every platform, Brian’s goal is to help people think biblically, live faithfully, and build homes and communities marked by conviction, resilience, and grace.
